Louis Wright is a cyber security postgraduate and software engineer based in Buckinghamshire, UK. He has around ten years' experience running his own web development agency, designing and delivering production web systems for clients across retail, culture and conservation. He is completing an MSc in Computer Science for Cyber Security at Oxford Brookes University; his dissertation is OSAINT, an open-source intelligence (OSINT) project. He is applying for a self-funded PhD at the University of Southampton, starting September 2027, to develop ThreatBytes: an agentic neural network-integrated cognitive and reasoning engine for predictive detection, analysis and prevention of novel malicious software. A ThreatBytes front end is already live. Research interests include malware detection and analysis, AI and machine learning for cyber security, agentic and reasoning systems, open-source intelligence, and secure networking. He follows computing news and open-source releases closely, and sets his own research and engineering tasks as a self-starter.
